Bobby began coaching gymnastics while attending college in 2000. He is skilled in training fundamental levels of gymnastics for all Olympic events up through specific movement and strength training for more advanced gymnasts. Bobby also brings years of martial arts, professional dance and movement into his classes as resources to aid in the development of skills for children from many different backgrounds with many different goals.

His favorite part of gymnastics is teaching kids that "all long journeys start and finish with a single step". He focuses on encouraging and training them to be their best mentally, physically, and socially.

"My hope is that all children I coach would develop a higher sense of confidence in themselves and in their abilities to succeed at whatever endeavors they choose in life."
